Wow, what a great site - I just discovered this site because I wanted to buy a Palm and Plecodict to help me read a Chinese TV Drama Novel on "Fated to Love You" (Which will undoubtedly take me several years to go through :P)
I'm Chinese Canadian - born in Canada now living in the US. My parents always speak to me in Chinese, so I'm in the weird position of understanding a great deal of Chinese, but I speak very poorly and my reading skills are even worse. Figuring out my level is difficult - it's very different for speaking vs. listening vs. writing. I really hope that I can at least read up to par with my listening skills, and then improve in general from there as I still have much difficulty understanding news, even though I can sometimes get the jest of it. This site will definitely help me with such things like grammar and recognizing more letters - what a great community we have here!
